Curtis Wade was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to a family of artists. His Grandmother,Juan Dell is a sculptor and his Grandfather, Joe Wade was the founder of Wade Gallery in Santa Fe. Curtis began painting lessons with his uncle, Barry McCuan, when he was 13 years old. The artist has also had artistic influence from his aunt Arlene La Dell Hayes. Searching for his own unique voice has lead Wade to experiment with a variety of mediums. He is working in oils in the studio and plein air. Curtis Wade is an exciting new voice we are pleased to add to our group of talented painters.
